What is this line and why have I not been obsessed with Jenny Packham before now?! I saw some photos of her showcase from fashion week and I'm hooked! Does anyone else feel the same? Please tell me if I'm missing out on any great designers!

Close, but No Cigar

I've had a little bit of a nail polish dilemma that has now taken over my free time. I'm looking for a good muddy brown color that isn't too dark brown, not too gray. Just the right combination. Problem? The color I want doesn't exist. If it does, it's hiding from me because it knows I will use it all up in like a week. I've already bought 4 colors that have each broken my heart a little bit when they turned out too light/dark/purple-y/gray. Why is it sooo hard to find the exact right color? I'm willing to pay- I have my debit card ready. Somebody help me!

Mondays come too soon, but jewelry makes me feel better

Hi y'all! Sorry I've been MIA for the past week. I've had a bad cold, and let's just say it wasn't fun. I'll spare you the details.

But I'm back! I'm starting a new job this week, so of course I'm looking for things to spend my money on...surprised? I keep looking for a really good statement necklace, but the ones I love, I can't afford, and the ones I can are just so...eh. Is anyone else in this boat too? Maybe I'm just too late on the trend and should suck it up and pay the money. I'm sure they're worth it- good statement necklaces are gorgeous!

Best House Re-do ever

After clicking through a few of my Pinterest photos I came across this insanely amazing house. Graham Yelton is a photographer who recently redid her house and I think she might be my soulmate. I die for those ceiling beams.

Girl Crush: The Man Repeller

Enter: Leandra Medine. The videos she's done with Rebecca Minkoff are priceless and I feel like we would make amazing best friends. We could do videos together. I could steal her clothes. I could stay with her in NYC and get front row seats at NYFW. It would be a 50/50 friendship, definitely.

Do yourself a favor and watch these videos. The first is an NYFW training video and the other is a cover of Call Me Maybe. I may or may not have burst out laughing. Only once or twice. Or a lot.

Dream Bathroom

I've come to terms with the fact that my teeny bathroom will never be the bathroom I want (with jet shower heads coming from the sides and granite counter tops). Its just not in my budget. But I'm definitely trying to pull some inspiration from some of these bathrooms I've found on Pinterest.

Sh*t Fashion Girls Say at NYFW

Even though I'm in little ole' South Carolina, I'm thinking that if I want it enough I can will myself to NYC this week for Fashion Week. So if for some reason that doesn't happen, I'm watching Sh*t Fashion Girls Say videos until I stop crying (kidding!). What do you think? I think this video is TOTES AMAZE

Instagram Update

Hope everybody had a good Labor Day Weekend! I should have been doing homework...but obviously that didn't happen. My procrastination gets me yet again.

 I spent time with my new friends, thanks to Kate Spade and their giant sale a few weeks ago.

 Cuddled with my bff Otis. He's always super happy when I wake him up to take some selfies!

 I'm pretty terrible when it comes to painting my own nails, so I was pretty proud of myself for this number. I even got into my fall colors, this one being Size Matters by Essie.

 Tried a new recipe I found on Pinterest for Mexican coleslaw. PS- it was really good! Get it here.

Caught up on the giant stack of magazines that have been calling my name lately.

And finally got around to making a recipe book that I've been meaning to make for weeks. I used a free recipe card print out from here!

I also finished painting my bathroom, so I'll be sure to post before and after pics after I'm done re-decorating.

Emerson Fry Fall Preview ughhh

Maybe because of London's impending presence in my life, but I've been DYING over Emerson Fry's Fall Preview- especially over the coats. I've been looking for some good, warm coats that will last me for what seems like a much colder winter than I'm used to. If someone were to buy me the spotted coat I would die a happy death. Just saying.

So then these coats make me think of this song...
